Horseback Riding/ Horse Packing

Horseback trips of varying lengths are offered throughout Utah; rides that probe our national parks and the adjacent countryside are particularly popular. Our experienced outfitters match participants with appropriate horses and recommend trails to meet the interest and skill level of the riders.

Families may enjoy a leisurely ride down a shady path, with the children on gentle mares. Others may want a more spirited horse for a longer ride through rough country, or a multi-day pack trip where you live like a cowboy and camp in tents along the trail, or stay in rustic cowboy cabins out in the middle of nowhere.

Most outfitters are equipped to provide all needed supplies, including camping gear. Our outfitters are famous for providing excellent Western or home-style means along the trail or in camp, and they can usually accommodate people with special dietary needs or physical requirements.
